Service of the oil pump

Removal and dismantling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Uncover a gas-distributing chain and an asterisk of a drive of the oil pump with a chain.
  2. Weaken collars and disconnect fuel купорьте the open ends of hoses in order to avoid hit in a dirt power supply system.
  3. Give fixing bolts and remove the fuel pump from the engine.
  4. Give fixing bolts and nuts and remove from a forward part of the engine the oil pump. Will throw out a sealing ring of round section.
  5. Give bolts of fastening of forward and back covers of the oil pump, remove covers from the pump case (components of the oil pump are shown on an accompanying illustration).

  1. Give a nut of a cam of a drive of the fuel pump, then remove a washer and a cam from a shaft of the oil pump. Take from the case of the oil pump assembly of an internal gear wheel (rotor) with shaft and an external gear wheel (rotor).
  2. Take from a forward cover of the pump a spring (ы) the reduktsionny valve and a plunzher of the valve (see an accompanying illustration).

Condition check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Carefully wash out components of the oil pump in solvent and dry up them a natural way.
  2. Check internal and external gear wheels of the pump on existence of signs of wear. Replace defective components.
  1. Temporarily establish both gear wheels back in the case of the pump and by means of measuring щупа lezviyny type check a gap between an external gear wheel and the pump case (see an accompanying illustration). Compare result of measurement to standard requirements (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management). In case of need replace the pump.
  1. Measure a gap between a teeth of an internal gear wheel and shoulders external (see an accompanying illustration). In case of excess of admissible value replace the pump.
  1. Press an edge of a measuring instrument of planeness to an end face of the case of the pump in and measure a lateral gap of gear wheels (see an accompanying illustration). In case of need replace the pump.
  1. Check a plunzher of the reduktsionny valve on existence задиров and scratches. Plunzher should have rather dense landing in a pump cover. Check a spring on existence loss of developed effort and existence of the broken rounds.
  2. Examine a cam of a drive of a gasoline pump on existence of cavities and задиров, in case of need make replacement.
  3. By means of a hammer and a drift take the needle roller bearing of a shaft of an internal gear wheel from the pump case. Will throw out the bearing. Check a condition of a surface of landing of the bearing on a gear wheel shaft. In case of identification задиров and roughnesses replace a shaft.

Assembly and installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. By means of a drift and an opravka establish in the pump case the new needle bearing.
  2. Plentifully grease all components with impellent oil and establish gear wheels in the pump case.
  3. Establish a forward cover with a new sealing ring, in stages tighten fixing bolts with effort of 7 ÷ 8 Nanometers.
  4. Fill a plunzher of the reduktsionny valve with a spring (ами) in a forward cover of the pump, tighten a stopper with effort of 39 ÷ 69 Nanometers, without having forgotten to change its sealing washer.
  5. Establish a cam of a drive of the fuel pump and tighten a fixing nut with effort of 16 ÷ 19 Nanometers.
  6. Lay a continuous pillow of hermetic in diameter of section 2 of ÷ 3 mm in a flute in a back cover of the pump, then within no more than ten minutes press a cover to the case of the pump and fix it bolts. The effort of a tightening of bolts should make 7 ÷ 8 Nanometers.
  7. Lay a hermetic pillow with ø of section 2 of ÷ 3 mm in a flute of a forward cover of the pump, establish on a cover new sealing rings, then press assembly to the pump case. Tighten fixing bolts with effort of 7 ÷ 8 Nanometers.

Before starting the engine let's to hermetic dry within not less than thirty minutes.

  1. Establish a gasoline pump with new insulating assembly. Strongly tighten fixing bolts.
  2. Establish assembly of a driving asterisk with a chain, a cover of a gas-distributing chain and a pulley of a cranked shaft.
