Engine of 3.0 l

General information

The engine belongs to 6-cylinder ryadny units with the top arrangement of a camshaft (ohc), a cross line head of cylinders from an aluminum alloy and a pig-iron case.

The cranked shaft is established in seven radical bearings, central from which is persistent, being responsible for size axial люфта in bulk.

Both radical, and shatunny bearings have replaceable bimetallic loose leaves with an antifrictional layer on a steel tape.

Instead of separate covers of radical bearings one general is used with individual beds for each of bearings that gives to the block of cylinders additional rigidity.

Sealing of landing of a cranked shaft is provided by the forward and back epiploons one of which is established in the oil pump in a forward part of the block of cylinders, and the second - in the holder fixed on a back wall of the block. The camshaft is also equipped in front with an epiploon placed in a persistent plate of a shaft.

The drive of a camshaft is carried out by means of a gear gas-distributing belt from a cogwheel of a cranked shaft. The tension of a belt is supervised by the special tension roller equipped with an adjusting spring and a blocking (lock) nut.

All valves are equipped with internal and external springs with the truncated step of the bottom rounds. Zakrutka of internal springs is made to the opposite side in relation to the external. Besides, the direction of a zakrutka of sets of springs of final valves of the first, second and third cylinders is opposite to that for sets of other valves.

Hydraulic pushers have direct contact to cams of a camshaft and put in action cast yokes which, in turn, operate operation of valves.

Each hydraulic pusher, contrary to usual, is equipped with the device of automatic adjustment of the valves, constantly supporting zero value of a klapanny gap.

The drive of the block of cylinders of the oil pump located in a forward part is carried out directly from a cranked shaft.

The engine is tightly connected to a flywheel casing for the purpose of extension of service life of a starter and coupling. In the lower part of a casing the stopper for periodic plum of accumulation of water and oil is provided.
