Removal, check of a condition and service of components of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism (chain and asterisks)

For performance described below works the following special tools be required: a stripper intended for a damper of krutilny fluctuations (for removal of a pulley of a cranked shaft), the tool for cutting of pillows of hermetic.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Empty cooling system, remove a radiator and the fan. Weaken collars and disconnect perepuskny and bottom heating hoses from a cover of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism (a cover of a gas-distributing chain). Remove driving belts from pulleys of the steering pump, the generator and (if it is provided) the compressor of the conditioner of air. Give fixing bolts, remove the steering pump and, without disconnecting hoses, shift it aside, releasing working space. On models with the conditioner of air give nuts and bolts of fastening of the compressor on an arm, remove the compressor and fix it on a mudguard of the left wing. Give fixing bolts and remove a compressor arm from the engine. Uncover the distributor and, having turned the engine in the direction of normal rotation, achieve a turn a begunka towards an arrangement of a segment of a candle wire of the first cylinder in a distributor cover. At the same time distributive label on a pulley of a cranked shaft should be combined with well-aimed VMT on a scale of a cover of a gas-distributing chain. Now the engine is in the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder. Remove the distributor from the engine. Give a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft (see an accompanying illustration). To prevent a provorachivaniye of a pulley it is possible, having wrapped up round it a driving belt and pulling it the lever. Remove from a bolt a big washer and screw a bolt back in an end face of a pin of a shaft for the purpose of prevention of damage by the last by a stripper. 1 — a cover of a gas-distributing chain 2 — the water pump 3 — an epiploon 4 — a distributive scale 5 — a distributive label 6 — a pulley of a cranked shaft 7 — a washer 8 — a bolt By means of a stripper remove a pulley of a cranked shaft. Merge from the engine oil and remove the case pallet. If the pallet is condensed on a case with laying instead of hermetic, for removal of a cover of a gas-distributing chain will incline only its forward part enough. Give forward bolts of a head of cylinders and bolts of a cover of a gas-distributing chain and carefully uncover the engine. Try not to damage laying of a head of cylinders and interfaced surfaces of a cover of a chain. Block an asterisk of a drive of the pump and give a fixing nut. Remove assembly of a chain, an asterisk of the pump and an external asterisk of a cranked shaft from the engine. Remove a natyazhitel. If asterisks are excessively hardly planted on shaft, they should be hooked carefully for removal by two levers. Give bolts of a natyazhitel of a gas-distributing chain of a drive of a camshaft and bolts of fastening of a directing chain. Remove directing with a natyazhitel, - try not to lose a spring. Block an asterisk of a camshaft and give a fixing bolt. Remove from the engine a gas-distributing chain, and also camshaft asterisks, internal a cranked shaft and a distributor drive. After removal of chains try not to turn the engine as it is fraught with the damages connected with blows of valves about pistons.

Installation is made upside-down.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Make sure that the engine on - former is in the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder. It, in particular, means that pins of cranked and distributive shaft should be developed by shponochny grooves up. In case of need slightly correct the provision of shaft. Put on a gas-distributing chain asterisks of a camshaft and internal a cranked shaft. Thus brilliant links of a chain should appear opposite to distributive labels on asterisks (see an accompanying illustration). 1 — assembly of a natyazhitel 2 — - a distributive label 3 — - a brilliant link 4 — - a nozzle of supply of oil 5 — - directing to a chain 6 — - a distributive label 7 — - a brilliant link Establish chain assembly with asterisks on the engine, watching that there was no rassovmeshcheniye of brilliant links of a chain to distributive labels. Block an asterisk of a camshaft and tighten a fixing bolt with effort of 132 ÷ 142 Nanometers. Establish assembly of a natyazhitel of a chain and tighten bolts of its fastening with effort of 7 ÷ 8 Nanometers. Establish directing slip, adjust a gap of a natyazhitel, having established it on 0 mm, using a chain weak point, and tighten fixing bolts with effort of 7 ÷ 8 Nanometers. Put on a chain of a drive of the oil pump asterisks of the pump and external a cranked shaft. Track, that the asterisk of the pump appeared is turned by a long acting part of a nave towards a cover of a gas-distributing belt. Establish chain assembly with asterisks on the engine. Block an asterisk of the pump and tighten a fixing bolt with effort of 24 ÷ 28 Nanometers. Establish directing overlay of a chain of a drive of the oil pump, then press it a finger for a choice of a weak point of a chain. Tighten slip bolts with effort of 7 ÷ 8 Nanometers. Impose a continuous pillow of qualitative hermetic in diameter of section 2 of ÷ 3 mm on an interfaced surface of a cover of a gas-distributing chain. Within five minutes after overlaying of hermetic press a cover to the block of cylinders, having tried not to break a pillow continuity thus. In some stages tighten bolts of fastening of a cover with effort of 21 ÷ 26 Nanometers. Slightly grease with hermetic on perimeter an internal surface of a pulley of a cranked shaft, then get a pulley on a shaft pin by means of a hammer with soft the brisk. Grease with hermetic of a carving and a washer of fixing bolts and screw the last, having tightened them with effort of 142 ÷ 152 Nanometers. Establish the case pallet. Establish the distributor. Fill cooling system, start the engine and check it on leaks.
