To Poddomkratta a car front also establish it on props. Probably it is required to remove the left forward wheel for ensuring access to the left forward spherical hinge.
On models of early years of release give a nut of fastening of a steering damper to cross-section steering draft, remove a washer. Give a nut with a bolt of fastening of a damper to a cross-section jet bar and remove a damper from the car.

On some models the steering damper instead of a cross-section jet bar fastens to a chassis frame. In this case it is necessary to give instead of mentioned the corresponding fixture. |
On models of late years of release give nuts since both ends of a steering damper, holding its rod motionlessly by means of a wrench. Remove washers and rubber plugs, then take a steering damper from under the car.
Take шплинты from koronchaty nuts since both ends of cross-section steering draft. Unscrew nuts.
If the stripper is available, use it for liberation of spherical hinges of cross-section steering draft from a rotary fist and a soshka of the steering mechanism.
If the stripper available is not present, take fingers of spherical hinges by pressing quickly one hammer to the corresponding landing ear, and with the second hammer strike on a reverse side of an ear.
Remove cross-section steering draft from the car. Check draft on existence of cracks and deformation signs, in case of need make replacement.
Check spherical hinges on existence axial люфта for what undertake the hinge one hand, and the second try to shake here and there a sharovy finger. If люфт takes place, replace cross-section draft.
Check effort of a povorachivaniye of spherical hinges for what screw nuts, clamp draft in a vice and rotate a sharovy finger by means of a sensitive dinamometrichesky key (see an accompanying illustration). The nominal effort of a povorachivaniye of the spherical hinge lies in a range between 1.0 and 4.9 Nanometers. In case of need replace draft.
Check a condition of boots of spherical fingers. Defective replace.
Check a condition of all carvings, replace defective components.
Undertake for both ends of a steering damper and several times strongly compress it till the end of a course. In the presence of breakthroughs and jamming points the damper should be replaced.
Examine the damper case on existence of dents, other damages and traces of leakage of liquid. In case of need make replacement.
Check a condition of rubber plugs of support of a damper. Replace defective plugs.

Tighten koronchaty nuts with effort of 46 ÷ 54 Nanometers.
Shplinta are subject to replacement without fail.

Remove шплинты koronchaty nuts from both ends of connecting draft. Give nuts.
In the presence of a stripper, use it for liberation of spherical hinges of tips of draft from rotary fists.
If the stripper available is not available, act with the alternative method described for hinges of cross-section draft.
Remove connecting draft from the car.
Check draft on existence of cracks and deformation signs. In case of need make replacement.
Check spherical hinges of tips on existence axial люфта for what undertake the hinge one hand, and the second try to shake here and there a sharovy finger. If люфт takes place, replace connecting draft.

Tighten koronchaty nuts with effort of 46 ÷ 54 Nanometers.
Shplinta are subject to replacement without fail.
Tighten lock collars of tips of connecting steering draft with effort of 25 ÷ 28 Nanometers.
Grease all hinges with greasing of the recommended type (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management).
Check installation of convergence of forward wheels of the car, in case of need make adjustment.

If the stripper available is not available, act with the alternative method described for hinges of drafts of models Hardtop and the Versatile person.
Remove longitudinal draft from the car.

Give a nut of fastening of a steering damper, remove a washer (ы) and lift a damper up, removing it from a hairpin on a cross-section bar.
In the presence of a stripper, use it for separation of spherical fingers of hinges of cross-section draft from assembly of the pendular lever and a soshka of the steering mechanism.
If the stripper available is not available, act with the alternative method described for hinges of drafts of models Hardtop and the Versatile person.
Remove cross-section draft from the car.
Check draft on existence of cracks and deformation signs. In case of need make replacement.

If the stripper available is not available, act with the alternative method described for hinges of drafts of models Hardtop and the Versatile person.
Remove connecting draft from the car.
In case of need weaken bolts of lock plates (see an accompanying illustration) and bolts of collars of fixing of tips of connecting draft. Remove tips. Count and write down quantity of the turns which were necessary for a reversing of each tip.
