|
At complete or partial refusal of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel it is important to make immediately listed below check. Only on the basis of the received results it is possible to start regenerative repair. |
Check of a condition of a driving belt of the steering pump
|
|
Attentively examine a belt on existence of cracks, zapolirovanny sites to shine and other damages. In case of need replace a belt. As the replaceable it is necessary to use only a firm belt.
If there was only a weakening of effort of a tension still a belt suitable for further application, make necessary adjustment.

|
|
|
Usually the first sign of weakening of a tension of a driving belt is emergence during performance of turns or at acceleration of the engine of the squeal connected with increase of load of the steering pump. |
Check of level of hydraulic liquid
|
|
|
Check liquid level in the tank of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel (see an accompanying illustration).Если check is made right after car operation, use a range of NOTES on an edge measuring щупа. Respectively, at the cold engine use COLD range.
|
In case of need add demanded amount of liquid, having finished its level to the corresponding label on щупе. Use only liquid of a demanded grade (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management).

It is not necessary to exceed nominal level of liquid in the tank. |
Check of hydraulic system on existence of leakages of liquid
|
|
By means of suitable solvent clear surfaces of all suspects of quality of a source of leakage of knots, lines and shtutserny connections of hydraulic system. Start the engine and several times turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop, then again muffle the engine. Examine system components on existence of traces of leaks. In case of need tighten weakened shtutserny connections and repeat check.

Do not tighten shtutserny nuts with excessive effort. |
If pulling up of shtutserny connections did not lead to situation correction, address to the Section the Elementary checks and adjustments and disconnect defective lines.
If the source of leak is located around assembly of the steering pump and the tank of hydraulic liquid, intervention of the expert is required.

Check of effort of a povorachivaniye of a steering wheel
|
|
Necessary condition of carrying out this check is the correct adjustment of pressure of a rating of tires and corners of installation of forward wheels. The car should be parked on an equal platform with a dry asphalt or concrete covering. |
|
|
Start the engine and cock the parking brake.
Having warmed up the engine on single turns to normal working temperature, several times turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop for the purpose of warming up of hydraulic liquid of system of strengthening of a wheel.

|
Pick up to a steering wheel a steelyard (see an accompanying illustration) and measure the effort necessary for turn of a wheel at least on one turn in both directions from rectilinear situation. Compare result of measurements to standard requirements (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management).
