Service of the oil pump

Removal and dismantling


    Remove a gas-distributing belt. Remove from a cranked shaft a cogwheel and a back directing plate.

In order to avoid damage of an epiploon of the oil pump / a cranked shaft during removal of the pump take from a pin of a driving gear wheel of a shaft a shponka.

    Give bolts of fastening of the oil pump to the block of cylinders. Tapping on the lower part of an internal surface of the pump, remove it from a pin of a cranked shaft. Will throw out laying.

The internal gear wheel of the oil pump is given in rotation by means of two лысок, pierced in a cranked shaft.

    Give fixing screws and remove a back cover of the oil pump (components of the oil pump are shown on an accompanying illustration).

    Carefully, remembering their adjusting provisions, take from the pump case internal and external gear wheels of the oil pump. Turn out a stopper of the reduktsionny valve, take a spring saddle, a spring and a plunzher. Carefully take from the oil pump an epiploon of a cranked shaft - use a special stripper, or a screw-driver with a flat sting. Will throw out an epiploon.

Condition check


    Carefully wash out all components of the oil pump in suitable solvent, then dry them. Examine the case and a pump cover on existence of signs of wear, deformations and other damages. Examine on existence of defects a plunzher of the reduktsionny valve. Check a spring of the reduktsionny valve on existence of damages, compare its performance data (length and effort of compression) to parameters of a new spring. With the help щупа lezviyny type measure size of gaps between a teeth of internal and external gear wheels and a crescent dividing element. If the size of a gap leaves out of admissible limits (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management), replace both gear wheels.
    With the help щупа and a planeness measuring instrument (an edge of a steel ruler) check gaps between face surfaces of both gear wheels and a pump cover (see an accompanying illustration). At an exit of results of measurements out of admissible limits (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management) replace both gear wheels and/or the pump case.
    Measure a gap between an external gear wheel and a wall of the case of the pump (see an accompanying illustration). In case of need replace an external gear wheel and/or the case.
    Check a condition of the mesh filter of a maslozabornik. In case of detection of blocking or damages clean or replace a grid.

Assembly and installation

Assembly and installation of the pump are made as it should be, the return to an order of its dismantle.


    Check purity of a nest of landing of an epiploon, slightly grease a new epiploon on perimeter with hermetic. Plant an epiploon in a nest aflush with an end face of the case of the pump (components are shown on an accompanying illustration).

    Establish in pump assembly components of the reduktsionny valve, tighten a stopper with effort of 39 ÷ 69 Nanometers. Establish in the pump case an external gear wheel (larger facet on external edge to a back cover of the pump). Establish an internal gear wheel (the equipped flute the party to a back cover of the pump). Grease gear wheels with impellent oil and establish a back cover of the pump. Tighten fixing screws with effort of 4 ÷ 5 Nanometers. Grease with hermetic both of the party of new laying of the pump. Slightly oil sponges of an epiploon and put on pump assembly a pin of a cranked shaft, having tracked that лыски an internal gear wheel correctly entered into gearing with cranked shaft. Level the provision of assembly of the pump and its laying on the block of cylinders and screw fixing bolts. Tighten bolts with effort of 9 ÷ 11.8 Nanometers. Establish on the engine the pallet of a case and assembly of a maslozabornik, fill in in the engine necessary amount of oil of a demanded grade. Establish a cogwheel of a cranked shaft, a gas-distributing belt and a damper of krutilny fluctuations. Start the engine, warm up it to normal working temperature. Whether check there are no leakages of oil, make necessary corrections.
