Removal and installation of a final collector

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Working under the car, give bolts of fastening of a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases to a final collector. Disconnect a pipe from a collector. Give fixing bolts and remove from a final collector the thermofilter. Remember a point of connection of the tire of grounding. Trumpet key disconnect EGR tube from a final collector. Moving on a spiral outside inside, gradually weaken fixture of a final collector. Remove fixing bolts, nuts and their washers and take assembly of a final collector from an impellent compartment. Check interfaced surfaces of a final collector on existence of cracks, deformations and other damages. Execute necessary repair, or replace a collector.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Do not forget to smooth out carefully previously interfaced surfaces and to replace all laying. Do not forget to establish under washer fixture. Tighten fixture with demanded effort, moving on a spiral from within outside. At installation of the thermofilter do not forget to connect the grounding tire. Start the engine and check a collector on existence of signs of leakage of the fulfilled gases.
