Service of a cranked shaft and radical bearings

For performance described below procedures will be necessary a stripper (for removal of a cogwheel of a cranked shaft), a micrometer and a tsiferblatny measuring instrument of plunzherny type.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

From the engine taken from the car remove a gas-distributing belt, the case pallet, a maslozabornik of the oil pump, the oil pump, a flywheel and the holder of a back epiploon. Turn out from the spark plug engine. Give fixing nuts and remove covers of the bottom heads of rods, putting them as installation on the engine. Carefully push shatunno-piston assemblies up in cylinders, without reaching the top border of a course of pistons. Check existence on rods and covers of shatunny bearings of identification labels. With the help щупа lezviyny type (on the fourth radical bearing - see an accompanying illustration), or a tsiferblatny measuring instrument check axial люфт a cranked shaft (a measuring instrument fix on a forward wall the block a plunzher to a shaft end face). In case of use of a tsiferblatny measuring instrument push away a cranked shaft against the stop back and null the device. Push a shaft against the stop forward and consider the indication of the strelochny indicator. If working surfaces of the persistent central radical bearing are in good repair, the result of measurement should not exceed 0.30 mm. In some stages weaken bolts of fastening of the general cover of radical bearings, - act as it should be, the return to an order of their tightening. Components of the general cover of radical bearings are shown on an accompanying illustration. Remember location of long bolts. 1 — bolts 2 — a cover 3 — loose leaves of bearings Before extraction of a cranked shaft it is possible to measure gaps in its radical bearings by means of the calibrated plastic wire from Plastigage set: Carefully wipe bearing surfaces pure неворсящейся rags; Lay seven pieces of the calibrated wire from a measuring set along shaft necks (slightly not on an axis); Establish the general cover of radical bearings and in a diagonal order, moving from the center outside, tighten bolts of its fastening; Do not allow a shaft provorachivaniye after laying of pieces of a wire on it. Give bolts and carefully uncover, take the bottom loose leaves of bearings; Having measured on a scale on packing of a measuring set width of the flattened-out pieces of the calibrated wire, define gaps in radical bearings of a shaft; There where the wire is flattened out more gap less, and on the contrary. Carefully take a cranked shaft from an engine case, - try not to damage and not to drop the top loose leaves of radical bearings, in particular if do not plan to make their replacement. If loose leaves are subject to replacement, take them from beds in an engine case.

Condition check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Estimate a condition and degree of wear of radical and shatunny necks of a cranked shaft, check them on konusnost and ovality existence. In case of need make a pro-point of necks till the next standard repair size. Even in case of wear or damage only by one of necks (radical or shatunny) all should be pierced also the others (respectively radical or shatunny). Thus it is necessary to prepare new loose leaves of bearings of the corresponding repair size. If nature of wear does not allow to restore a shaft neck by a pro-point, it is necessary to replace a shaft. Check a condition of persistent surfaces of the central bearing (see an accompanying illustration). In case of detection of deep cavities and developments replace bearing loose leaves that should bring into norm axial люфт a cranked shaft. 1 — the built-in persistent plates 2 — the loose leaf of the persistent bearing 3 — a cover of radical bearings Even if gaps in radical bearings are recognized satisfactory, check loose leaves on existence of scratches, задиров, cracks, cavities and other defects. In case of need replace defective loose leaves (in pairs). Lay a cranked shaft the ends in V-shaped blocks and by means of a tsiferblatny measuring instrument measure size of its palpation around the central radical bearing. If the result exceeds 0.10 mm, it is necessary to replace a shaft.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Check passableness of all маслотоков and purity of all necks of a shaft. Once again wipe loose leaves of all bearings and grease them with pure impellent oil. Correctly place loose leaves in the beds. At installation of the top loose leaves of radical bearings track combination of oil openings in them with the corresponding openings in beds. The top loose leaves differ existence of oil flutes. Lay a cranked shaft in the block of cylinders, filling shatunny necks in the bottom heads of the rods. Lay the bottom loose leaves of radical bearings in the beds in a cover. Track, that landing uvulas of loose leaves entered into reciprocal grooves in a cover. Grease the bottom loose leaves of radical bearings with pure impellent oil and establish assembly of a cover of radical bearings on the engine. Screw bolts of fastening of a cover and in some stages tighten them with effort of 46 ÷ 52 Nanometers in an order shown on an accompanying illustration. Track, that long bolts were screwed in the former openings. Check freedom of rotation of a cranked shaft. Measure axial люфт in bulk. Replace a back epiploon of a cranked shaft and establish on the block the holder. Plant the bottom heads of rods on the necks of a shaft. Grease loose leaves of shatunny bearings with pure impellent oil and establish covers of bearings on the bottom heads of the rods. Track compliance of identification labels of rods and their covers. Tighten fixture of covers of shatunny bearings with demanded effort. Establish all components removed in the course of dismantle.
