Removal, check of a condition and installation of a gas-distributing belt and its natyazhitel Removal
Components of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism and detail of fixture of its covers are shown on an accompanying illustration.

Turn a cranked shaft, having given the engine the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder. In this situation the label on a pulley of a cranked shaft will be combined with the index on a cover of a gas-distributing belt, and the begunok of the distributor will turn a nouse towards an arrangement of the VV plug of a wire of a spark plug of the first cylinder.
Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
Empty system of cooling and remove a radiator and fan assembly.
Remove driving belts from pulleys of the steering pump, the generator and the compressor of the conditioner of air (if the last enters into a car complete set).
Give a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft. For pulley blocking from a provorachivaniye it is possible to use an old driving belt and the lever.
By means of a stripper remove a pulley of a cranked shaft from the engine.
Liberate wire VV from clamps on the top cover of a gas-distributing belt.
Disconnect hoses of a coal adsorber and the distributor from tubes in a forward part of a cover of a gas-distributing belt and shift them aside, having cleaned from a working zone.
Give fixing bolts of the top cover of a gas-distributing belt, shift towards VV of a wire and uncover the engine.
Give fixing bolts and remove from the engine a forward bottom cover of a gas-distributing belt.
Remove from a cogwheel of a cranked shaft directing plate of a gas-distributing belt and make sure of combination of a distributive label on a cogwheel with a reciprocal label on the case of the oil pump.
If further use of a gas-distributing belt is supposed, mark with an arrow the direction of its rotation. Also mark an arrangement concerning a belt of distributive labels of cogwheels of cranked and distributive shaft.
Weaken a lock nut of a natyazhitel of a gas-distributing belt, then turn a natyazhitel by means of a suitable prutkovy key and again fix it a lock-nut.
Remove a gas-distributing belt from cogwheels of cranked and distributive shaft.

After removal of a gas-distributing belt do not allow a provorachivaniye of cranked and distributive shaft in order to avoid damage of pistons and valves at blow their friend about the friend. |
Give a lock-nut of a natyazhitel of a gas-distributing belt and remove a natyazhitel with a spring from the engine. Try to remember an order of installation of wavy and flat washers of a natyazhitel.
Uncover heads of cylinders and weaken bolts of fastening of axes of yokes. This procedure is necessary for the correct tension of a gas-distributing belt at its installation.

Condition check
|
|
Wipe a gas-distributing belt and components of a natyazhitel pure dry rags. Examine a belt on existence of characteristic defects (see an accompanying illustration).
Check a spring of a natyazhitel on existence of signs of wear, deformation and other damages.
Manually check freedom of rotation of a tension roller, having estimated thereby a condition of its bearing.
Check a condition of a contact surface of a tension roller.
Check, whether fixing bolts are damaged.
Replace all worn-out or defective components.

Installation
|
|
Make sure that the engine still is in the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder. In case of need correct the provision of a cranked shaft.
Make sure that the directing pin on a camshaft is in the top point эпюры the movement.
Establish a natyazhitel with a spring on a forward part of the block of cylinders. Track, that the end of a spring entered into gearing with a hairpin so that that the belt tension was provided.
Establish at first a flat washer, then wavy (the concave party to a natyazhitel). By means of a prutkovy key take a tension roller aside from a belt and temporarily tighten a lock-nut.

If the new belt is established, it should be equipped with landing labels. Otherwise mark one of dredging between a teeth of a belt and count back from this provision of 53 dredging. Mark also this 53rd dredging (see an accompanying illustration). |

|
At installation of an old belt it is necessary to observe former the direction of its rotation. |
Put on a gas-distributing belt cogwheels of distributive and cranked shaft, having tracked combination of labels on a belt with labels on wheels and observance of correctness of rotation of a belt (if it is established old).
Weaken a lock-nut of a natyazhitel and allow the last to pull a belt.

Fixing bolts of assembly of yokes should be weakened as was mentioned above, differently the effort of a tension of a belt will not be correct. |
By means of a prutkovy key shake a natyazhitel two-three times in both directions, having convinced of adequacy of effort of a tension of a belt.
Having blocked a natyazhitel in this situation by a prutkovy key, tighten its lock-nut with demanded effort.

In order to avoid emergence of noise and/or acceleration of wear of a belt, it is not necessary to establish effort of a tension of a belt big than the effort developed by a spring of a natyazhitel. |
At located in the top point эпюры the course a directing pin of a camshaft tighten bolts of axes of yokes of the fourth, fifth and sixth cylinders with demanded effort.
By means of the wrench which has been put on a bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft turn the engine clockwise so that the directing pin fell to the bottom situation. Now tighten with demanded effort bolts of axes of yokes of the first, second and third cylinders.
For the last check turn the engine further clockwise, having returned directing pin of a camshaft to the top situation and make sure that bolts of fastening of all axes of yokes are tightened with demanded effort.
Establish directing plate of a gas-distributing belt on a pulley of a cranked shaft, the concave party outside. Establish the top and bottom covers of a gas-distributing belt. Track correctness of installation of sealants. Tighten with demanded effort fixing bolts.
Establish a cover of a head of cylinders.
The remained components establish as it should be, the return to an order of their dismantle, paying attention to the next moments:
Pulley of the water pump, the fan and radiator of system of cooling establish according to instructions;
Adjust a tension of driving belts.
