Diagnostics of malfunctions of coupling

Coupling revolves

The free wheeling of a pedal of coupling is insufficient. Check, make adjustment.

The mechanism of switching off of coupling is faulty. Check, make necessary repair.

It is faulty the main or executive cylinders of coupling. Check, execute major maintenance of hydraulic system of a drive of coupling.

The working surface of a conducted disk of coupling is worn-out. Check, replace a disk if its frictional slips are worn-out to less than 0.3 mm of an eminence over heads of rivets (see an accompanying illustration).

The servo-driver block (model of 4.2 l) is faulty. Check, in case of need replace.

Usually the first sign of pro-slipping of coupling is the appreciable causeless increase in turns of the engine at a capture of steep slopes. For check of a condition of coupling firmly cock the parking brake, prop up car wheels wedges and establish transmission in the provision of the highest transfer, then at average turns of the engine slowly release coupling. If the engine thus does not decay, coupling pro-slipping takes place. Weakened fastening of frictional overlays of a conducted disk. Check, replace a disk.

There were cracks in a working surface of a press disk (see an accompanying illustration). Check, replace assembly of a basket of coupling.

The surface of a press disk, or flywheel is scratched. Check, replace a coupling basket, or a flywheel.

Vibration of coupling is usually most appreciable at movement by a backing up by a bias. As one of the reasons of emergence of vibrations is weakening of support of the power unit before removing coupling for survey, carefully check a condition of rubber pillows and arms of support, and also reliability of their fastening.

Takes place prikhvatyvany couplings

As in most cases incompleteness of switching off of coupling appears the adjustment of a free wheeling connected with violation, or installations of height of a pedal of coupling before removing coupling for survey, carefully check correctness of the corresponding installations and pump over hydraulic system.

When functioning coupling extraneous noise take place

The bearing is overdried or worn-out vyzhimny. Check, replace the bearing.

The diafragmenny spring of a press disk is damaged. Check spring petals on existence of furrows and other damages (see an accompanying illustration), in case of need replace a disk.

It is worn-out, or the directing plug of primary shaft is not greased. Check, in case of need replace the plug.
