Removal and installation of screw springs of a back suspension bracket

For performance described below procedures the special tool for compression of screw springs is required.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To Poddomkratta a car back also establish it on the props got under a frame of the chassis.
  2. Raise a case of the back bridge by means of a jack got under its central part. It is necessary to unload shock-absorbers completely.
  3. Disconnect a rack of the stabilizer of cross-section stability from the end of its bar. Disconnect a hose of ventilation of differential.
  4. Give the top and bottom fixing nuts and disconnect the bottom support of the shock-absorber from the bridge.
  5. Carefully omit bridge assembly so that there was a possibility of removal of a screw spring.
  6. Check a spring on existence of cracks, deformations and weakening of developed effort. Whenever possible compare parameters of the removed spring to the new.
  7. Check the limiter of a course of compression on existence of damages and signs of aging of a material. In case of need give fixing bolts and replace the limiter.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Track that the top saddle of a spring when lifting the bridge was located correctly.
  2. Screw nuts of fastening of support of the shock-absorber, previously having checked a condition of rubber plugs.
  3. Tighten nuts of fastening of support of the shock-absorber with effort of 30 ÷ 40 Nanometers after all weight of the car will be transferred on its wheels.
