 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  1. By means of a small screw-driver carefully separate the switch panel from the selector lever (see an accompanying illustration).
  1. Disunite the electric socket and remove the switch from the lever.
  2. Check conductivity existence between socket plugs. At position of the POWER switch conductivity should take place, at the situation AUTO - is not present. In case of need replace the switch.
  3. Installation is made upside-down.

Models of late years of release of 4.2 l of EFI

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Small screw-driver carefully hook the switch, liberating it from the central part of the dashboard (see an accompanying illustration).
  1. Disconnect electroconducting and remove the switch from the car.
  2. Execute switch check:
    1. In the situation POWER conductivity should take place between switch plugs 2 and 7.
    2. In the situation HOLD there should be a conductivity between plugs 2 and 3.
  3. In case of need replace the switch.
  4. Installation is made upside-down.
