Driveshafts

General information

Driveshafts are the dual tubular sleeves equipped with universal (kardanny) hinges with flanges on external holders of crosspieces since both ends of a shaft. (see an accompanying illustration).

    At vertical movings of forward and back bridges during car movement, the length of the driveshaft as appropriate varies at the expense of application from one of the ends of assembly of the sliding joint equipped with shlitsa. The Kardanny hinge consists of a crosspiece, four needle roller bearings with the fixed lock rings cups. The forward driveshaft on models with bodies such as Utiliti (Utility) and the Mini-truck (Cab Chassis) is equipped with the dual kardanny hinge representing assembly from two universal hinges. At obvious wear or damage of the dual kardanny hinge the shaft is subject to replacement in a set. At repair of universal (kardanny) hinges important in the course of dismantling to take care of accurate marking of mutual provision of all flanges, holders and sleeves, - at assembly they should be established precisely in former provisions.
