To Poddomkratta a car back also establish it on props.
Remove from the car the driveshaft.
Mark adjusting position of a drum of the mechanism of the parking brake in relation to a driving flange and remove a drum.
Finger press a pin head to a board of the brake mechanism, compress directing springs of boots, turn holders (a plate of springs) on 90 °, then remove holders, springs and their saddles from assembly of the brake mechanism.
Remove coupling springs, dissolve and remove lock rings and washers of fastening of brake boots to the executive mechanism. Remove from brake assembly boots and a regulator.
Check freedom of rotation of a regulator, then screw the adjusting screw against the stop in the regulator cylinder. In case of need clean and grease a regulator carving.
Check residual thickness of frictional overlays of boots, compare result to standard values (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management), in case of need replace slips, or establish replaceable boots.
Check a brake drum on existence of signs of wear, scratches, задиров and other damages. In case of need make a pro-point, or replace a drum.

Installation
Installation is made upside-down.
|
Establish a brake drum according to the landing labels put in the course of dismantle.
|
Extend a regulator so that boots contacted with drum walls, then truncate it, achieving a gap of 0.25 ÷ 0.40 mm (see an accompanying illustration).

Removal and installation of a cable of a drive of the parking brake
Removal
|
Remove boots of the mechanism of the parking brake.
Disconnect a cable tip from the executive lever.
Open a lock ring and remove it from a tip of a cover of a cable, separate a cable from a brake board.
Remove the central console.
Release a fixing clip, compress lock uvulas, take a finger and disconnect a cable from a control lever of the parking brake.
Weaken a lock-nut of a cover of a cable and liberate a cable from an arm.
Having pulled, drag a cable with the plug through passage through the body panel and remove it from the car.
Check a condition of a plastic emphasis of a fixing finger. In case of need replace a finger.
Check a cable condition, in case of detection of defects make replacement.
Check the plug of a cable through passage on existence of signs of aging of a material. In case of need make replacement.

Installation
Installation is made upside-down.
|
Moderately grease a control lever ratchet with the parking brake and all sliding surfaces of a drive.
Adjust the provision of a cover of a cable so that the control lever was cocked on 7 ÷ 9 clicks of a ratchet when applying effort of 20 kgfs.
Track, that the control lamp on the dashboard lit up when raising lever on already click and did not burn at completely lever. In case of need turn in a basic plate of the sensor switch for the purpose of correction of the moment of operation of a control lamp.

Removal and installation of a control lever of the parking brake
Removal

Remove from the car the central console.
Disconnect a drive cable from a control lever the parking brake.
Give bolts of fastening of the lever, disconnect electroconducting from the sensor switch of a control lamp of the parking brake and remove lever assembly from the car (details of installation of the lever are shown on an accompanying illustration).
Check the lever on existence of signs of wear and damages. In case of need make replacement.

Installation is made upside-down.

Tighten bolts of fastening of the lever with demanded effort.
In end adjust a driving cable and the sensor switch of a control lamp of the parking brake.
