Service of a cable of a drive of a butterfly valve

Removal and installation

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Weaken lock-nuts and take a cable from an adjusting arm.
    Turn of the lever transfer a butterfly valve to completely open situation. Using the formed weak point, disconnect a cable from the lever. In salon of the car release uvulas and remove the plastic plug of a cable from the top part of the lever of a pedal of gas. Liberate from the lever the cable core. Give bolts of fastening of an arm of a cable. Involve a gas cable through a partition of an impellent compartment in car salon. Check the core and a cable cover on existence of signs of wear, damage of a carving and a peg. In case of need replace a cable.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    In order to avoid education a peg try not to braid a cable and not to bend it too strongly. Track correctness of installation of the plastic plug in the top part of the lever of a pedal of gas.

Adjustment

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Make sure that the cable of a manual drive of a butterfly valve is completely released. Ask the assistant to squeeze out completely a pedal of gas and make sure that draft of a drive of butterfly valves is in the provision of complete opening. In case of need weaken lock-nuts and as appropriate correct length of a cable. At the correct adjustment the throttle should be completely open at the pedal of gas squeezed out to a floor. The released pedal should have a free wheeling of 1 ÷ 3 mm. The cable core on draft of a drive of butterfly valves on the carburetor should have an insignificant weak point also.
